Office Maintenance Technician (Corporate Office)
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex
Schedule: Full‑time, on‑site | Flexible hours (M–F: 7–4, 8–5, or 9–6)
Pay Rate: $26.00–$29.00/hour (non‑exempt)
Overtime: Intermittent, planned in advance, project‑driven
Position Overview
A well‑established corporate organization is seeking an Office Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day maintenance and operations of a large corporate office environment. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, professional, and efficient workplace for office employees, including frequent interaction with corporate staff and executives. Professional presence and comfort working with people are essential.
This is a full‑time, on‑site, hourly position supporting an approximately 85,000 sq. ft. 2 story office footprint within a larger portfolio. The role is supported by a detailed preventative maintenance program and structured processes, with room for fresh perspective and continuous improvement.
The position also serves as part of the emergency response team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs for office areas, furnishings, restrooms, and equipment
Support light plumbing, painting, basic HVAC, basic electrical work, kitchen appliances, copier repairs, and other office equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized workplace environment
Perform preventative maintenance according to established PM schedules
Support office reconfigurations, special projects, and internal events
Coordinate and assist with outside vendors as needed
Log, track, and close work orders, repairs, and projects using Service Channel
Communicate clearly with managers and office personnel regarding maintenance status and timelines
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and handle sensitive information with discretion
Arrive promptly for scheduled shifts and remain flexible as business needs evolve
Perform additional duties as assigned
Experience & Skills Required
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of general maintenance experience in an office, corporate, retail, or facilities environment preferred
Hands‑on experience using hand tools, power tools, and gauges
Working knowledge of plumbing, painting, and basic electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings and schematics
Comfortable researching parts, equipment, and repair solutions
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn work order systems (Service Channel) and shipping platforms
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
Professional, approachable, and polished; effective communicator at all organizational levels, including executives
Flexible, adaptable, self‑motivated, and safety‑focused
Must be based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Office building approximately 22 years old
Structured preventative maintenance program already in place
Corporate office focus only (no data center responsibility)
