Onboarding Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company based out of Hillsboro, OR. We are looking for a dedicated Onboarding Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will support new hire onboarding processes, ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience, and partner with internal teams to drive efficiency and consistency.
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Duration: Temporary, 3–6 months with potential for extension
Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage end-to-end onboarding processes for new hires
Prepare and distribute offer letters and new hire documentation
Ensure completion and accuracy of onboarding paperwork and compliance requirements
Partner with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience
Schedule and coordinate orientations and training sessions
Maintain employee records and update HRIS systems accordingly
Respond to new hire inquiries and provide support throughout the onboarding process
Qualifications:
Previous experience in onboarding, HR coordination, or a related role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with HRIS systems is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Pay Details: $20.00 to $35.00 per hour
