Operations Assistant
Full-Time | Onsite | Escondido
We are partnering with a well-established nursery operation in North San Diego County that is adding an Operations Assistant to support inventory, production, purchasing, and day to day operations.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in operations support, inventory coordination, or administrative work who enjoys variety in their day. The position supports multiple teams and splits time between office based work and being out in the operation as needed.
What you will be doing
Supporting inventory tracking across production and finished goods
Maintaining accurate product information, labels, and internal records
Entering and updating data related to crops, inventory movement, and customer orders
Assisting with ongoing inventory counts and helping identify variances
Preparing shipping and loading paperwork for outbound orders and customer pick ups
Supporting purchasing with order entry and inventory updates
Receiving products into internal systems, including scanning, documenting, and organizing materials
Helping maintain reports and spreadsheets used by operations and sales
Working closely with production, purchasing, and sales teams to keep information aligned
What they are looking for
Prior experience in operations, administrative support, inventory, logistics, or data entry roles
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Able to work independently while also collaborating across teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in both an office environment and around active operations
Willingness to support overtime when needed, including occasional Saturdays
Bilingual English and Spanish
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Nice to have, not required
Experience in agriculture, nurseries, manufacturing, or production environments
Exposure to inventory reconciliation, forecasting, or cycle counts
Familiarity with compliance, labeling, or regulated products
Experience supporting B2B operations or distribution

Pay range: $27-30 per hour
