LHH is recruiting a litigation paralegal for the Louisville Kentucky office of a regional law firm.  The paralegal will support attorneys with products liability matters.  Hybrid, 2 days a week remote.  


Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and analyze medical records and prepare medical summaries
  • Search information from court-related databases as well as other online sources of case information
  • Determine, prepare and organize materials needed for expert witness review
  • Review, analyze and organize document productions
  • Summarize transcripts; assemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents
  • Trial preparation and support including reviewing and preparing records and exhibits
  • Maintain spreadsheets to track discovery, dismissals, and status of cases

Qualifications:
  • Extensive civil litigation experience, preferably product liability or medical malpractice
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of plaintiffs and demands daily
  • Associate, Bachelor’s or Certificate in Paralegal Studies desired
