Job Title: Paralegal - Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, & Creditors' Rights
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days on-site/2 remote after training) | 37.5-hour workweek
Salary: $80,000-$90,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-established, mid-sized law firm in downtown Portland is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy, Foreclosure & Creditors' Rights Paralegal to join its growing commercial practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience handling bankruptcies, foreclosures, and collections who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to bankruptcy, foreclosure, collections, and creditors' rights matters
Manage case files, court deadlines, and filings in Oregon and Washington
Support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of matters while ensuring accuracy and compliance
Coordinate with legal assistants and communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
Qualifications:
3+ years of paralegal experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, creditors' rights, or collections
Knowledge of Oregon and Washington court procedures
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy
Experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac foreclosure processes preferred
Paralegal certificate or formal paralegal education preferred
