Paralegal
Legal & Compliance
LHH is seeking a detail‑oriented Corporate Paralegal to support attorneys with a broad range of corporate, LLC, and business law matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on entity formation, governance, and compliance matters in a collaborative and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with corporate and LLC formations, including preparing organizational documents, operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements, stock certificates, and organizational minutes
Prepare and file foreign entity registrations and assumed name certificates
Conduct research with the North Carolina Secretary of State, North Carolina statutes, and other governing laws
Draft and review correspondence, memoranda, agreements, closing documents, affidavits, indemnities, and other business or legal documents
Prepare reports, opinion letters, and transactional support materials
Track and follow up on filings and action items to ensure all required steps are completed accurately and on time
Provide general paralegal and administrative support to attorneys as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree OR 3–5 years of paralegal experience with an Associate’s Degree from an ABA‑approved Paralegal Technology Program (preferred)
Background in corporate, business, or transactional law strongly preferred
Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
