Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 DOE

 

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Florida law firm to hire an experienced Community Association Paralegal for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity based in Tampa (Westshore area). This role supports busy attorneys representing condominium and homeowners' associations and offers long-term stability within a collaborative, professional environment.

 

The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and prior experience supporting COA/HOA legal matters. Responsibilities include preparing association notices and correspondence, drafting amendments and resolutions, supporting covenant enforcement efforts, managing document recordings, maintaining statutory compliance items, and assisting with association governance and records management. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced law firm setting while providing high-quality client support.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute board, member, and meeting-related notices and correspondence
  • Draft and manage association amendments, resolutions, and governance materials
  • Support compliance and enforcement initiatives, including statutory and pre-suit notices
  • Coordinate recording and organization of governing documents and amendment histories
  • Assemble assessment, recall, and voting-related packages
  • Order and review title searches and governing records
  • Maintain statutory compliance tracking and preservation documentation for association clients
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recent and tenured paralegal experience in community association, real estate, or related practice areas supporting attorneys in a US law firm or US corporate legal department
  • Professional familiarity with Florida condo and HOA regulations, including Chapters 720 and 718, MRTA (Chapter 712)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal document management systems, and ATIDS
  • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
