LHH is searching for an organized and proactive part-time Bookkeeper to support a vibrant organization in Stony Point office park, Richmond, VA. This position is office-based, offering 15–20 hours per week on a contract basis, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

 

Position Highlights

·        Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (hours are flexible)

·        Location: Southside Richmond, Stony Point office park

·        Hourly Rate: $26–$30 (contract); $30–$35 (permanent)

·        Perks: Cell phone allowance, paid time off accrual, holiday pay

 

Primary Functions

·        Administer payroll for about a dozen staff members using specialized software

·        Assist with onboarding and basic HR processes for new employees

·        Process accounts payable, utilizing QuickBooks

·        Coordinate vendor relations and maintain W-9 forms

·        Handle electronic payments and compile credit card receipts for staff expense reporting

·        Work closely with vendors and internal personnel to streamline operations

·        Monitor payment timelines and keep financial records up-to-date

·        Oversee supply levels to support daily functions

·        Take on additional responsibilities as needed to enhance office operations
