Job Title: Patient Services Representative (Non-Clinical)

Location: Melbourne, FL

Type: Contract (3 months)

Shift: Days 5x8 Hours, M-F 8a-5p

Pay: $18-$20/hour

 

Job Description:

The Patient Service Representative is the check in and check out receptionist in a medical office clinic. The PSR greets patients, verifies insurance information, collects co-pay and payment information, makes follow up appointments, answers the phone, and assists the front office Team Lead with administrative tasks and referrals or prior authorizations from insurance companies.

 

Job Requirements:

Educational requirement of high school graduate and 1-2 years (Certified Administrative Professional), or two-year associate degree and 1 year of experience in either clerical role or healthcare environment; or high school graduate or equivalent and two years of experience is required.

EPIC experience is REQUIRED



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
