LHH is teaming up with a leading transportation solutions company in Houston, TX to find a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment!


This company offers a HYBRID work schedule and long-term career stability.


To qualify candidates should have above average analytical skills with experience processing for a minimum of 400 employees.
Annual salary for the Payroll Accountant ranges between $78K and $85K per year depending on experience.


Job Duties:
 

  • Prepare and process US payroll for over 600 employees

 

  • Assisting with audits and month end close responsibilities

 

  • Answering payroll related questions

 

  • Preparing payroll entries for accounting records

 


Job Requirements:
 

  • Two or more years payroll processing experience

 

  • Some reconciliation experience involving employee compensation and financial activities

 

  • Experience with deductions and withholdings

 

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills

 

  • Excellent communication



Pay Details: $78,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
