Payroll Manager – Lead Payroll Operations with Impact

Are you ready to take ownership of payroll operations and HR systems in a leadership role that blends strategy, compliance, and team development?

This opportunity puts you at the center of payroll and HRIS management for a multi-entity organization, where your expertise will drive accuracy, efficiency, and innovation.

  • Strategic Scope: Lead payroll budgeting, reporting, and compliance—including SOX controls and audit readiness.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage payroll operations, staff, and vendor relationships.

  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll processes.

  • Ensure SOX compliance and oversee internal/external audits.

  • Administer HRIS and time tracking systems.

  • Reconcile payroll and benefits GL accounts and analyze accruals.

  • Monitor wage and hour laws and implement necessary changes.

  • Prepare reports, metrics, and tax filings.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, 2+ years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong GAAP knowledge; CPP certification is a plus.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
