Payroll Manager Job in San Diego, CA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Payroll Manager for our client in San Diego, CA. This direct hire opportunity is fully onsite. This role requires multi-state payroll processing experience and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the reporting, generation, and timely distribution of employee paychecks, including all wage adjustments and bonuses
· Review and analyze bi-weekly payroll pre and post-processing
· Ensure all quarterly and annual state and federal payroll tax deposits are processed and paid accurately and timely
· Oversee month-end payroll journal entries, accrued payroll, and benefit reconciliations and reviews journal imports
· Reconcile tax filings and earnings records and ensures accuracy and the completion of state withholding rates and unemployment tax registrations
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in payroll processing
· Multistate processing experience
· Capable of posting related payroll journal entries for month and year-end
· Experience using UKG or Workday preferred
· Excellent organizational and customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $110,000 to $140,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
