We are partnering with a growing organization in Midtown Atlanta to identify a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist. This individual will support end-to-end payroll operations within a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate processing. The ideal candidate brings strong systems experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing for a multi-state employee population

  • Review and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Process payroll adjustments and resolve discrepancies as needed

  • Compile, analyze, and maintain payroll data and reports

  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies

  • Partner with internal teams to gather and verify payroll inputs

  • Support benefits-related deductions and reconciliations

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing

  • Experience working with a major payroll system (UKG or similar strongly preferred)

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis)

  • Knowledge of payroll best practices and applicable regulations

  • Professional payroll certification (FPC or similar) is a plus

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • High level of accuracy, accountability, and dependability

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude



Pay Details: $34.00 to $36.00 per hour
