Payroll Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring a Payroll Specialist to process bi-weekly payroll, ensure data accuracy, respond to inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies. We are looking for applicants with at least 2 years of payroll processing experience and construction company/industry experience. This temporary opportunity is in Bellevue, WA and the anticipated salary is between $34-36 per hour.
Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely
• Verify accuracy of payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and commissions
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience
• Construction company/industry experience required
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, regulations, and tax principles
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel skills
