LHH is working with a company in the Lynnwood, WA area that is searching for a payroll professional to add to their team. This individual will be assisting with HR tasks and managing part of the payroll processing, so the manager is flexible to hire either an HR or a Payroll professional. You need to have at least a year of professional experience in one of those fields and be able to work well on a team. Since there is a lot of flexibility needed from the person in this role, it’s important that you are able to change priorities and tasks quickly. You will have a chance to work with a friendly team in a large, bright office space with free parking.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accurate and confidential daily timekeeping and weekly payroll processing
  • Handle employee updates and transactional changes in collaboration with internal departments
  • Complete I?9 verification and E?Verify processing to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Maintain and update employee records, including DOT medical certifications and emergency contact information
  • Assist with HR and operational projects, providing administrative and cross?functional support as needed
Qualifications
  • An associate’s degree in business would be preferred
  • At least a year of payroll or human resources experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work with sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality


Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
