LHH is partnering with a large organization in the downtown Seattle, WA area that is searching for a temporary Payroll Specialist for their team. This role will last anywhere from one to two months, helping cover for an employee leave. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of previous payroll processing experience and multi-state knowledge would be helpful. The manager will train on the system, but it is preferred that the candidate have work experience on ADP or UKG previously. This position is fully onsite but offers flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
  • Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Review and verify employee timecards, deductions, and earnings prior to payroll submission.
  • Coordinate with HR and management to address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain and update employee records.
  • Prepare and generate payroll reports for management, auditors, and government agencies as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency with payroll software such as ADP or UKG.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and verify timecards, deductions, and earnings.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries


Pay Details: $33.00 to $36.00 per hour
