A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations at a production facility. This role is a critical business partner to plant leadership, responsible for driving financial visibility, operational efficiency, and cost control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all plant-level financial activities including monthly close, financial reporting, and variance analysis to support operational decision-making

  • Partner with plant leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost improvement strategies tied to production performance

  • Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, and product costing to ensure accurate margin analysis and profitability insights

  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards while supporting audits and safeguarding company assets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing accounting, including leadership responsibility

  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, financial analysis, and ERP systems

  • Proven ability to influence operations through financial insights and cross-functional collaboration

Location: Lindsay, CA - Onsite M-F (close to Visalia, Tulare, Fresno) ** Relocation Assistance Available
Salary: $95,000 – $100,000 base (poss flex) + eligible for plant EBITDA bonus (typically around 1.3% - plant controllers average after bonus $190K)
