Procurement Coordinator
Procurement & Supply Chain
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute procurement activities including purchase order creation, tracking, and vendor communication.
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels in procurement systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure alignment with budget and timelines.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, and deliveries.
- Support contract negotiations and renewals with suppliers.
- Prepare procurement reports and assist in data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Hours:
- 9:00am-5:00pm
- Monday through Friday
Worksite Type:
- 100% in office
- Contract to Hire
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
