Project Accountant

Project Accountant Opportunity in Roseville, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end reports related to cash flow and third-party debt.

• Review budget to actual for multiple projects.

• Manage daily cash and perform bank reconciliations.

• Manage fixed asset management and job cost reconciliations.

• Perform month-end close duties, including journal entries that conform with GAAP standards, balance sheet reconciliation, and preparing financial statements for multiple entities.

• Prepare month-end and ad hoc reports.

• Manage WIP billing and accounts payable.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Excel skills.

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

• Three years of related experience as a full-cycle accountant.

• Experience in the construction industry or project-based accounting is highly preferred.

• Experience with multi-entity accounting and month-end close processes.

·       Experience with Sage 300 software is considered an asset.

Our client is looking for local candidates, this role is in office daily.  Salary range is $75K to $87K doe.  You will be offered a range of benefits with this role and will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, holiday pay, PTO and wellness perks.
