A nationally recognized, publicly traded real estate and land development organization is seeking a Project Engineer – Civil / Water Resources to support complex water resource and land asset initiatives in Nevada and other western states. This opportunity is ideal for a civil engineer who wants meaningful ownership in projects involving water rights, infrastructure development, regulatory compliance, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
Lead coordination of engineering consultants and contractors, including review of technical plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction compliance.
Support acquisition, administration, and documentation of water rights and related permits, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
Oversee project budgets, material quantity calculations, and cost projections while monitoring construction progress and regulatory reporting.
Collaborate with executive leadership and legal teams on asset development, zoning, land parceling, right-of-way agreements, and public presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 3+ years of progressive engineering experience.
Ability to obtain Nevada Professional Engineer license within 12 months and Nevada Water Right Surveyor certification within 6 months, with the clients support.
Working knowledge of civil engineering design principles, construction methods, and regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local agencies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Earth; experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and interest in ArcGIS.

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 base salary + bonus 12.5% ; PLUS discretionary bonus based on perfomance of company.
