About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established heavy civil general contractor to identify a skilled Project Manager to lead roadway and underground utility construction projects across the Greater Phoenix market.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full project lifecycle: planning, execution, and closeout
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
Interpret contracts, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
Oversee project engineers, superintendents, and on-site staff
Drive safety compliance in alignment with OSHA standards
Ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to project requirements
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of project management experience with a general contractor
Experience in heavy civil construction (roadway, underground utilities)
Strong knowledge of project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CMAR, JOC)
Proficiency in CPM scheduling and MS Office tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of Arizona agencies and standards (ADOT, MCDOT, MAG)
Experience with construction software (Sage CRE, TimberScan, MS Project)
Familiarity with estimating tools (AGTEK, Hard Dollar, On-Screen Takeoff)
