Quality Assurance Manager

A leading aerospace organization is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems, regulatory compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within a highly regulated maintenance and repair environment.
This role will serve as a key leader in maintaining compliance with aviation regulatory requirements while partnering with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams to strengthen quality performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and enhance the organization's quality management system, ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, UK CAA Part 145, AS9100, and other applicable aerospace regulations.
Manage internal audit programs, support customer and regulatory audits, and drive corrective action activities to ensure ongoing compliance and operational effectiveness.
Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and improve overall product and process quality.
Develop quality metrics, monitor performance trends, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that support safety, reliability, and customer expectations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of quality leadership experience within aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), FAA Part 145.
Strong working knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulations, including AS9100, FAA Part 145, EASA, auditing methodologies, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis tools.
Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and successfully manage regulatory, certification, and customer-facing audits.
Preferred Experience
Professional certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt.
Experience supporting aircraft components, aviation safety equipment, or complex aerospace products.
Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations, transportation compliance requirements, and international aviation standards.
