Quality Assurance Support Specialist

Overview
This position is responsible for in-process and final inspection of a wide variety of detailed mechanical parts, electronic assemblies, and finished products. The role also supports and maintains quality management system activities (ISO 9001, AS9100, FAA, TUV). Key Responsibilities
Conduct product inspections to ensure conformance, including evaluation of supplied product, work-in-process, and final inspection.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve process or product quality.
Create and maintain First Article Inspection Reports.
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
Contact vendors for certifications and corrective action responses.
Monitor expiration-sensitive items (e.g., adhesives, inks).
Document inspection results via reports, logs, and quality databases.
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Support internal and external audits.
Assist in maintaining the organization’s Quality Management System.
Manage repair documentation in compliance with FAA standards.
Qualifications
Experience:
3–5 years of quality control inspection experience.
3–5 years working with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
Training:
On-the-job training (OTJ) as required.
Knowledge & Skills:
General understanding of core quality system requirements.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards.
Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Strong arithmetic skills.
Intermediate computer proficiency.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience with QT9 or similar quality management software.

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
