Resident Services Coordinator (SRO and Seniors) – San Francisco, CA
LHH is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in the affordable housing and community services space in San Francisco, CA, to hire Resident Services Coordinators supporting residents in single-room occupancy (SRO) housing and senior living.
This organization is deeply committed to housing stability, resident well-being, and access to critical resources. This role plays a key part in supporting adult residents as they maintain housing, build independence, and connect with essential services. You’ll work closely with property management and community partners while engaging directly with residents in a highly people-focused environment.

Resident Services Coordinator – Single Room Occupancy (SRO)
Key Responsibilities
Provide case management and care coordination to adult residents in SRO housing
Support housing retention through outreach, assessments, goal-setting, and service planning
Coordinate referrals to health, behavioral health, benefits, employment, and social services
Partner with property management on housing stability issues, lease compliance, and conflict resolution
Conduct intakes, annual assessments, and ongoing documentation in required systems
Facilitate wellness checks, crisis intervention, and de-escalation when needed
Plan and support onsite programs, workshops, and community-building activities
Maintain accurate case files, reports, and grant-related documentation
Additional Opportunity: Resident Services Coordinator – Senior Housing
Supporting senior living communities within the same organization
Fluent Spanish is required for this role due to resident population needs
Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or at least 3 years of equivalent experience in community or social services
Experience working with low-income or formerly unhoused populations
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Experience with case management, service coordination, or resident engagement
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic case management systems
Ability to work fully on-site in San Francisco, CA
Preferred
Bilingual skills (Spanish strongly preferred for SRO, required for Senior role)
Experience in affordable housing or nonprofit settings
Position Details
Employment Type: Contract with strong potential for conversion to permanent based on performance
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Fully on-site, San Francisco, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $29.00–$32.00/hour, depending on experience
