LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a growing Oil and Gas company in the Fort Worth area that is seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant to join its accounting team. This hybrid opportunity offers a collaborative environment with 4 days onsite and 1 remote workday each week. The ideal candidate will bring strong oil and gas revenue accounting experience and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Revenue Accountant | Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid Schedule
The Revenue Accountant will support all aspects of revenue accounting operations for both operated and non-operated properties, while ensuring accurate reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and reconcile oil & gas revenue transactions for operated and non-operated assets
Maintain revenue-related general ledger accounts, clearing accounts, and assigned balance sheet reconciliations
Coordinate division order setup and ownership updates with Land and Accounting teams
Prepare and file regulatory and severance tax reports, ensuring timely and accurate compliance
Manage revenue deck maintenance and updates as requested by internal stakeholders
Research and respond to royalty owner questions and internal reporting requests
Assist with audits, special projects, reporting analysis, and process improvement initiatives
Partner with Land, Operations, and Marketing teams to resolve revenue-related issues and improve workflows
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of oil & gas revenue accounting experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
$85,000–$100,000 base salary
