LHH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bid Manager to lead the bid process for assigned opportunities within the Global Public Sector for one of our top clients! In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the bid lifecycle—from strategy and planning to content creation and submission. You will develop and manage high-quality proposal content, maintain our internal content library, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on public sector procurement processes, particularly around formal RFx responses (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and other proposal types.

  • Support the intake, triage, and coordination of RFx requests across the business.

  • Develop comprehensive bid and response plans, schedules, and review processes for all phases of proposal development.

  • Manage and track all aspects of content preparation, revisions, and submission while coordinating input from internal stakeholders (sales, solution engineering, security, legal, compliance) and external partners as needed.

  • Write, edit, and format compelling and compliant response content tailored to customer requirements.

  • Participate in developing clarification questions and manage communications throughout the procurement process.

  • Review and interpret solicitation requirements, crafting persuasive narratives aligned with client needs and organizational value propositions.

  • Educate internal teams on RFx processes and best practices.

  • Maintain and enhance a centralized proposal content repository and library of reusable assets.

  • Contribute to win theme development, executive summaries, and other key proposal sections.

  • Drive process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and content usability.

  • Collaborate effectively across remote teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Location: Central or US East Coast (Remote)

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal development or bid management for government solicitations under direct and indirect contracting models.

  • 5+ years of experience in technology consulting or cloud-based solution environments (SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS).

  • Strong background in technical writing and proposal content development—creating persuasive, accurate, and compliant material.

  • Experience managing and maintaining a structured content library for proposal assets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and quality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Chat).

  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and occasionally work overtime when needed.

Highly Desirable Skills

  • Experience with proposal management tools such as Loopio, Qvidian, or similar software.

  • APMP and/or PMP certification.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
