Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and practices on construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment, conducting safety training, and implementing company safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA).

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.

  • Lead and participate in safety meetings, briefings, and toolbox talks with workers and site supervisors.

  • Provide safety training to all personnel including subcontractors, covering topics such as PPE use, fall protection, equipment handling, and emergency procedures.

  • Maintain accurate safety records, including logs of injuries, inspections, training sessions, and corrective actions taken.

  • Collaborate with site managers and project teams to proactively address safety issues.

  • Ensure that all workers are equipped with proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.

  • Monitor compliance with COVID-19 or other health-related protocols as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum [5] years of experience in construction safety management or a similar role.

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (Required); CSP, CHST, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead, train, and influence a diverse construction workforce.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

  • Ability to work in physically demanding construction site environments.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily on-site at construction projects.

  • May involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.

  • Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

Benefits Package Includes:

  • $110,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience.
