Senior Accountant

Our staffing firm is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Senior Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity. This position plays a key role in supporting continued business expansion, including integration efforts and increasing complexity across accounting operations.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking initiative, working independently, and being deeply involved in day-to-day accounting functions. This position will sit onsite in Erlanger, KY.

Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger activity, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations

• Support a fast-paced month-end close process, including financial reporting and variance analysis

• Reconcile key accounts including cash, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and bank accounts

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and supporting schedules

• Assist with year-end close processes and preparation of audit-ready workpapers

• Prepare and manage tax-related filings such as 1099s and support external audits and regulatory requests

• Partner cross-functionally to support ERP system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements

• Contribute to ongoing optimization of accounting workflows and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience

• Experience working in manufacturing or complex operational environments preferred

• Proficiency with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in an onsite setting

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $92,000.00 per year
