About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making across multiple business units. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position offers the opportunity to work on complex accounting functions, tax compliance, and financial analysis in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables
- Support financial statement preparation and external audit requests
- Conduct variance and flux analysis for financial reviews
- Manage and assist with tax filings (property, sales/use, etc.) and compliance
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and depreciation
- Document and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development
- Leverage accounting systems to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of progressive experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
