LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing, multi-location organization in Houston to identify a Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the month-end close process, partnering with operations, and working in a fast-paced environment where they can make a meaningful impact.

The Senior Accountant will support multiple business locations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, completing account reconciliations, analyzing financial results, and assisting with process improvements. This position reports directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager and offers strong visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for multiple business units

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and adjusting entries

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

• Analyze income statement and balance sheet activity, identifying trends and variances

• Support cash forecasting and financial reporting processes

• Partner with operational teams to gather and validate financial information

• Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

• Prepare financial reports and support management reporting needs

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies

• Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations

• Advanced Excel skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA designation

• Experience in a multi-location or multi-entity environment

• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct

• Background in service-based, construction, field services, or related industries

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
