Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Senior Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Morgan Hill, CA.  This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing organization and have 7 years of senior level accounting experience and supervision experience would be a plus.  The role will be heavily involved in the month-end close, reconciliations, preparing journal entries including accruals, reclassifications and other month adjustments, sales and use tax, back-up accounts payable, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
- Strong General Ledger Accounting experience
- Strong accounting concepts and solid knowledge of general accounting (GAAP)
- Excellent month-end close experience (GL Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations. Credit Card Reconciliations, Journal Entries)
- Financial reporting, sales & use tax, RGNI (Received Good Not Invoiced) Account Management
- Industry experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Software experience with a medium to large ERP is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 would be a plus
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Solid communications skills (written & verbal)
- Team player, helpful, and a can-do attitude
- Reliable, dedicated, comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty
- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
