Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The Senior Accountant will work cross-functionally to provide accurate financial insights and support business decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger

  • Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

  • Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data

  • Analyze financial statements and variances, providing actionable insights to leadership

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies

  • Support internal and external audit processes and provide requested documentation

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, operations, tax) on financial matters

  • Assist with special projects, system implementations, and process enhancements


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)

Preferred:

  • CPA or CPA-eligible

  • Public accounting experience

  • Experience with multi-entity or multi-location environments
