Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The Senior Accountant will work cross-functionally to provide accurate financial insights and support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
Analyze financial statements and variances, providing actionable insights to leadership
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
Support internal and external audit processes and provide requested documentation
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, operations, tax) on financial matters
Assist with special projects, system implementations, and process enhancements
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
Preferred:
CPA or CPA-eligible
Public accounting experience
Experience with multi-entity or multi-location environments

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
