Senior Accounts Payable Analyst - Temporary

A growing consumer products company is seeking a strong Accounts Payable professional to support an AP automation initiative. This is an immediate need for someone who can step in quickly, stabilize processes, and help drive operational improvements during a system transition.
This role will report directly to the Director of AP and will play a key role in the implementation and optimization of the Medius AP automation platform while continuing day-to-day work within JD Edwards.
This is temporary position and will report onsite three days per week.
Responsibilities:
Support full-cycle Accounts Payable operations
Assist with AP automation implementation and process improvements
Partner with leadership on workflow optimization and system enhancements
Work within JD Edwards during the transition to the new system
Analyze AP processes and identify efficiencies and best practices
Support invoice processing, reconciliations, vendor management, and issue resolution
Help ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payment processing
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and operations teams
Qualifications:
5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Experience at the Senior Analyst level or above
Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and workflow optimization
Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards
AP automation or implementation experience strongly preferred
Consumer Products / CPG industry experience preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to start ASAP
Pay Range: $33/hr-$37/hr
