LHH is seeking a seasoned Senior Recruiter to lead strategic hiring initiatives across the country for our client’s organization. This role is critical to identifying, engaging, and onboarding top-tier talent in skilled trades, project management, engineering, and corporate support functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep recruiting expertise, strong industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to workforce planning. This position will also work with outside agencies to identify contract talent to support national needs. This position is direct hire and will pay between $85K and $95K for the right combination of experience and education.

LHH is seeking a seasoned Senior Recruiter to lead strategic hiring initiatives across the country for our client’s organization. This role is critical to identifying, engaging, and onboarding top-tier talent in skilled trades, project management, engineering, and corporate support functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep recruiting expertise, strong industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to workforce planning. This position will also work with outside agencies to identify contract talent to support national needs. This position is direct hire and will pay between $85K and $95K for the right combination of experience and education.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-impact roles across multiple locations
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key positions in construction and welding disciplines
- Leverage job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks to attract qualified candidates
- Conduct screening interviews and coordinate candidate assessments
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback
- Collaborate with HR and operations teams to align hiring with workforce planning goals
- Track and report recruiting metrics to inform decision-making and improve processes
- Represent the company at career fairs, trade events, and industry conferences
- Stay current on labor market trends, union dynamics, and compliance regulations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades
- Proven success in sourcing and hiring for technical and field-based roles
- Strong understanding of employment laws and recruiting best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with welding certifications and trade licensing requirements
- Experience recruiting in union and non-union environments
