LHH is seeking a Senior Regional Inventory Manager (Sr. RIM) to lead inventory strategy and execution for one of the largest national wholesale distributor of landscape supplies in Roswell, GA. This role is responsible for aligning inventory levels with market demand, managing forecasting processes, and driving continuous improvement across inventory planning and replenishment functions. The Sr. RIM will support a large, multi-site operation with significant inventory volume and will play a key role in ensuring optimal service levels while maintaining efficient inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Strategy & Execution

  • Lead regional inventory and replenishment strategy, serving as a key point of contact for field leadership

  • Drive performance against in-stock and inventory turn objectives

  • Utilize forecasting and planning tools (e.g., demand planning systems, Excel) to manage weekly forecasting processes

  • Develop and maintain statistical baseline forecasts

  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve forecast accuracy

  • Optimize inventory parameters to balance service levels and inventory efficiency

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively mitigate stockout risks

Regional Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with operations leaders to analyze inventory data, identify efficiencies, and reduce costs

  • Collaborate with sales teams to incorporate market intelligence into forecasting and inventory planning

  • Support SKU assortment planning, including setup and ongoing maintenance

  • Lead regular forecast planning and inventory review meetings

  • Conduct periodic site visits to support operational execution and inventory best practices

Leadership & Development

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to regional teams on inventory management best practices

  • Lead training initiatives to ensure consistent execution of inventory policies

  • Contribute thought leadership to improve systems, tools, and processes across inventory planning and replenishment functions

  • Where applicable, manage and develop direct reports

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

  • 5–7+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management

  • Experience with demand planning or forecasting systems preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders, including senior leadership

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and distribution

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, databases, reporting tools)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence

Additional Information

  • Travel requirement: Approximately 10%

  • Professional certifications (e.g., APICS) are a plus
