Senior Technology Operations Analyst (remote)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Operations Center (TOC) Analyst to serve as a top-level escalation resource within a growing operations environment. This role plays a critical part in incident management, advanced troubleshooting, and monitoring optimization, helping ensure system stability and performance across infrastructure and applications.
This individual will operate as a technical leader during high-impact incidents, while also enhancing monitoring strategies and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the highest-level escalation point for complex technical issues identified through enterprise monitoring tools
Lead triage and resolution efforts during major incidents, using system data, logs, and performance metrics to drive fast recovery
Enhance monitoring effectiveness by refining alert thresholds, dashboards, service maps, and suppression rules
Identify monitoring gaps and partner with engineering teams to onboard new systems and applications
Create and maintain detailed runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and system documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams to resolve issues and improve operational visibility
Partner with business units to implement monitoring for new applications and services
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts (Tier 1 and Tier 2)
Support disaster recovery exercises and validate monitoring readiness across platforms
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience in a TOC, NOC, or IT operations environment
Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds or similar platforms)
Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and virtualization
Proven ability to lead incident response and troubleshoot complex system issues
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams
Preferred:
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services)
Industry certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, Network+, or monitoring platform certifications
Exposure to tools such as ThousandEyes, Splunk, or similar analytics platforms
Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python or similar)
Familiarity with event correlation and security monitoring tools

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional Details
Standard work schedule within daytime operational hours, with flexibility as needed
Participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours support
Opportunity to contribute to the build-out and maturation of a centralized operations function
