Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with month-end close procedures, reconciling GL accounts, preparing financial reports, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of accounting experience and excellent organizational skills. This temporary opportunity is fully onsite in Bellevue, WA.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Perform month-end close procedures

·       Assist with Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process

·       Reconcile GL and bank accounts

·       Post journal entries and ensure accurate account coding

·       Maintain general ledger

·       Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and forecasting

·       Compile audit and tax related documents as needed

·       Research and resolve discrepancies

 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant experience required

·       1-3 years of accounting experience

·       Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

·       Strong Excel skills

·       Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
