LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a growing small business–focused accounting firm on the northside of Indianapolis looking for an Accountant. This role will report to an Accounting Manager, support a defined book of clients, and be part of a collaborative team of accounting professionals. This position is open due to continued growth and offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across both accounting and tax in a more balanced public accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary contact for a group of small business clients
Prepare and review monthly compilations and financial reporting
Assist with tax preparation (S Corps, LLCs, 1040s) and light review
Support ongoing tax planning and client advisory needs
Review work and assist with development of junior staff as needed
Troubleshoot client bookkeeping issues and provide solutions
Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the year
Contribute to process improvements and service offerings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
1+ years of experience within a CPA firm or similar client-facing environment
Experience working with small business clients preferred
Exposure to compilations and tax preparation (S Corp and individual)
CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills and client service mindset
Motivated, team-oriented, and interested in long-term growth

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
