Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Louisville, KY

Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 annually + Bonus Opportunity

Full-Time | On-Site

 

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our clients growing finance team in Louisville, KY. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and integrity. Prior experience within the construction industry is preferred!

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations

• Support accounts payable and receivable functions

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare monthly financials

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships count!)

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Yardi, Procor)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Prior experience within the construction industry is preferred!
