Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a global leader in automated laboratory technology and scientific solutions serving pharmaceutical, chemical, food & feed, beverage, environmental, and academic industries is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and collaborates closely with team members to support essential accounting operations. The ideal candidate is detail?oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within a dynamic organization.

Staff Accountant – Hybrid | New Castle, DE
 

Location: New Castle, DE
Job Type: Full?time, permanent
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 total annual compensation

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

Bank Management

• Post daily accounting transactions and support ongoing cash management activities.

Payroll Coordination

• Work with an external HR/payroll provider to submit payroll (no prior payroll experience required).

Audit Support

• Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for the annual audit.

Record Maintenance

• Maintain financial records in alignment with internal accounting policies and procedures.

Other Duties

• Perform additional accounting tasks and projects as assigned by the manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Accounting Knowledge: Functional understanding of US GAAP.
• Systems Experience: SAP experience preferred; similar ERP systems also acceptable.
• Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Communication: Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech Adaptability: Ability to learn new systems including SAP Business One, Concur AP, Salesforce, and Power BI.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and financial analytical abilities.
• Team Orientation: Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
