Staff Accountant – Healthcare Manufacturing
Location: Norristown, PA
Base Salary: $65,000 – $70,000

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in the healthcare manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, working knowledge of SAP, and a collaborative mindset to support day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Assist with commissions and bonus compensation processing
  • Support month-end close activities
  • Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations
  • Manage cash deposits and maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Track and report tariffs relevant to healthcare manufacturing
  • Submit documentation for biannual audits
  • Assist with depreciation entries and other core accounting functions
  • Collaborate with internal tax teams and external consultants
  • Review tax filings prior to submission
  • Provide backup support to the tax function

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
  • Proficiency in SAP (experience in healthcare or manufacturing modules is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Prior experience in healthcare or manufacturing environments preferred
