LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a one of our clients located in Sacramento, California looking to fill a Staff Accountant job.  The job is 100% in-office! The right candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant with a solid focus on the accounts payable. The role will be responsible for handling the day to day accounts payable and the daily general ledger accounting functions including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, assist with the month, quarter and year-end close, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
 
Qualifications for the job include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Strong accounts payable experience
- Solid general accounting and GAAP principles
- Attention to detail, problem-solver, and analytical
- Excellent communications skills written & verbal and a team player
- Software experience with a medium to large ERP would be a plus
- Strong Excel skills intermediate to advanced (pivot table, vlookups, sumif etc..) 



Experience: 3 years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, AP Accountant)
