The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates to support organizational staffing needs. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering with hiring managers to ensure an efficient, compliant, and high-quality hiring process. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located in Mundelein, IL.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates to support organizational staffing needs. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering with hiring managers to ensure an efficient, compliant, and high-quality hiring process. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located in Mundelein, IL.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Source qualified candidates using job boards, internal databases, social media platforms, referrals, and networking events.
- Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate interview schedules, facilitate feedback, and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment laws, and affirmative action requirements.
- Maintain accurate records within applicant tracking systems and prepare recruiting reports as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing.
- Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing strategies.
- High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
