Senior Tax Accountant

📍 Oklahoma City, OK (Hybrid option available) 💰 $85,000 – $95,000 + Bonus Potential

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing public accounting firm to fill a Senior Tax Accountant to join its collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while gaining exposure to complex tax engagements, tax planning strategies, and client advisory services. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in public accounting and enjoy building client relationships while delivering high-quality tax solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns

• Conduct tax research and analyze complex tax issues

• Assist with tax planning projects and client consulting engagements

• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide mentorship

• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and notices

• Identify tax-saving opportunities and compliance risks

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings

• Stay current on federal, state, and local tax regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting

• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA preferred

• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

• Experience with tax preparation and research software

• Advanced Excel skills preferred
