Title Clerk
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk to support a high-volume automotive group. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and dealership documentation in a fast-paced environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $21 and $23/hr.
Responsibilities
Process retail, lease, and wholesale vehicle titles and registrations accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare and submit title applications, lien filings, and supporting documentation to appropriate agencies
Track title status, follow up on outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies
Verify ownership documents, payoff information, and odometer disclosures
Prepare checks for title transactions, registration fees, and license plates
Maintain organized records of deal jackets, title paperwork, and supporting documentation
Issue refund checks and process corrections as needed
Reconcile assigned accounts and assist with related accounting functions
Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies to address title issues
Support filing, scanning, mailing, and general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous automotive title processing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with dealership software (DMS) is a plus
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
