Tool Design Engineer

Tooling Engineer

The Tooling Engineer will support tooling design, new product development, and process improvement within a metal forming environment. This role will take tooling projects from concept through production, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and tooling partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop forming progressions and tooling strategies

• Create 3D models and tooling drawings

• Review prints and specifications to determine tooling requirements

• Coordinate with internal toolmakers and outside tooling vendors

• Support tooling trials, debugging, and production start-up

• Assist with new product feasibility and quoting

• Improve tooling performance and manufacturing processes

 

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of tooling, product, or manufacturing engineering experiencets

• Ability to read engineering drawings; GD&T knowledge preferred

• Familiarity with EDM, lathes, grinders, and other toolroom equipment

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred

 

Salary Range: $105,000-$130,000
