Our client is seeking a Total Rewards Manager. This role is based in New York City and you will be required to work in office five days per week. Competitive benefits are offered plus an annual bonus.
Overview:
The Total Rewards Manager leads the administration of payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience. This role partners with leadership to drive process improvements, support strategic initiatives, and enhance total rewards offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, including processing, audits, reporting, and compliance
Manage and develop payroll and benefits staff; implement policies and improve workflows
Administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, leave, and wellness)
Partner with vendors on renewals, reporting, and employee benefit communications
Support open enrollment and resolve employee benefits-related inquiries
Ensure accurate processing of union payroll, benefits, and required reporting
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, ERISA, FMLA, etc.)
Support financial close activities, reconciliations, and payroll-related accounting
Drive process improvements, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field
10+ years of payroll and benefits experience; union experience preferred
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
