Legal Assistant (Healthcare Practice / Transactional Support)
Location: Westwood (Los Angeles, CA)
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 DOE
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a law firm, seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a Healthcare Practice Group. This role primarily supports attorneys handling corporate transactional and regulatory healthcare matters, with occasional litigation support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys within the healthcare practice
Draft, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents, agreements, and correspondence
Support client intake, including preparing materials, opening matters, and coordinating conflicts checks
Maintain accurate client and matter records within the firm’s systems
Coordinate document execution, including DocuSign and follow-up with clients and attorneys
Assist with calendaring, time entry, billing review, and expense tracking
Perform data entry and maintain records in document management systems
Provide general administrative support, including mailings and document production
Assist with litigation support tasks as needed, including document preparation and filing
Qualifications
5+ years of legal assistant or legal administrative experience
Strong document formatting, proofreading, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience supporting transactional, corporate, healthcare, or regulatory attorneys preferred
Litigation support experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Full-time
In-office schedule (4 days in-office / 1 remote)
