Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Kansas City, MO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our warehouse facility. This role is responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing logistics processes to support efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Manage and lead a team of warehouse associates, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure stock accuracy.

  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Monitor and improve warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.

  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.

  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and workflow.

  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational issues.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar logistics/supply chain role.

  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment as needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with lean warehousing or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Forklift certification.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

 



Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $93,000.00 per year
