Cash Application Specialist – Contract to Hire
Near Canton, OH | Pay up to $24/hr
LHH is partnering with a reputable organization near Canton, Ohio to identify a Cash Application Specialist for an exciting contract?to?hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail?oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, high?volume transactions, and fast?paced environments. What You’ll Be Doing
- Accurately apply daily customer payments including checks, ACH, wire transfers, lockbox, and credit cards
- Research and resolve unapplied, unidentified, and misapplied cash transactions
- Reconcile daily cash activity to bank deposits and internal reporting
- Investigate and resolve short payments, overpayments, and payment discrepancies
- Partner closely with Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Collections teams
- Maintain accurate documentation to support clean AR aging and reporting
- Utilize Excel to track, reconcile, and analyze payment activity
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high?volume payment processing
- Proficiency in Excel for tracking, reconciliation, and reporting
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross?functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem?solving skills

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
